INTELLECTUAL OUTPUTS
The needs analysis covers a survey of employees, employees in transition to retirement and jobseekers50+ (n =411). 16 counselling and 21 HR (human resource) practitioners were interviewed as well. The two target groups were located in Croatia (HR), Poland (PL) and Germany (DE).
This output was addressed for the realization of training sessions. There were overall three pilots and six training sessions in Croatia, Germany and Poland. The training material can be downloaded here.
The web portal www.in50plus.com contains general information about the project InCounselling50+ and its products as well as the self-directed online course with freely accessible learning units.
(A training brochure, a project poster and a short report) strive to give an overview of the products and their use. They point out how the training can be adapted for other contexts or national specialties, and which further development opportunities for the generation 50+ to focus on.
FOR COURSE PARTICIPANTS
This is the material for the face-to-face trainings. Participants can find everything in the leaner’s workbook, trainers will find suggestions for the training in the trainer guide. Apart from that all PowerPoint presentations are accessible as well.
This handbook introduces the topics ‚peer learning‘ and ‚peer counselling‘. It also includes a practical process of a peer counselling session and an overview of coaching, mentoring and supervision.
FOR LECTURES
The concept describes the basic components of the training. Based on the needs analysis the focus was set on:
- Informal learning
- Network and peer learning
- Self-regulated learning
- Competence orientation
This handbook is a fluent text of the training’s content as well as some theoretical background and theories. It includes the face-to-face training and the online course.
